The simplest purging method for an overstuffed closet-
Look at each item in your closet. If you want to keep it put it back in the closet with the hanger turned backwards. As you wear an item put it back with the hanger facing the right way, as pictured. In six months remove all items that are still facing backwards. Ta Da! Now there is plenty of room to go shopping for new clothes, or not!
